Question 3

bubbleshare is an excellent tool to animate the many different ways of finding these answer).
Question 4
Find a link to blogs that deal with percentages. Leave a comment behind and add the link with a review (What the post was talking about....yes you have to read the post
and why others should read the post) Hint In the side bar there are links to other schools. Three of them have done work on percentages!
http://linden8m.blogspot.com/. That site talks about how to convert a fraction,a decimal and a percent. Others should read that post because it helps in how to convert and it tells you how to convert.
Question 5
The principal announced that 50% of the children in Ms. Stanzi's class met their reading goal for the month and that 55% of the children in Ms Lowrey's class met their reading goal for the month. Ms Stanzi said that a greater number of her students met their reading goal. Could Ms Stanzi be correct? Why or Why not.
Ms. Stanzi's could be correct because maybe she has 40 people in her class and 20 of them is 50%. Ms Lowrey's class could of have only 30 people in her class and 55% of that is 16. That means Ms Stanzi could of been right but we don't really know how many people she has in her class or Ms Lowrey.Question 6
Use a hundred grid (unit square) to illustrate the following questions. Once you have explained and illustrated what the question means solve it.
Question A

a) 16 is 40% of what number?
16*2=32or 80%
16/2=8 or 20%32 + 8 =40 or 100%b) What is 120% of 30? 30/100=0.3 or 1%. 0.3*120=36 or 120%You can't make 120% on a hundred grid.
